Martini Houseboat
The Prinsengracht is a 2 mile long canal that runs parallel to the Keizersgracht. The canal was named after the Prince of Orange. Construction started in 1612 and consists of four canals in a belt. Now after 400 years it is now Unesco Heritage site.

My boat is located on one of the best spots on the water down town and everything is walking distance.
From the Amsterdam Centraal trainstation is a 14 minute walk. Anne Frankhouse 2 minute walk. Rijks and Van Gogh museum only a 25 minute walk.
For breakfast the Pancake House the best in town only a 1 minute walk.

New Amsterdam City Rules on Holliday Letting 2026
I am the owner of the Martini Houseboat Amsterdam and per the 1st of September 2026 the City of Amsterdam apllied new rules concerning Holiday Letting.
My beatiful houseboat on The Prinsengracht I have shared for the past 15 years with numerous guests. The boat when not rented out is my home and already more than 30 years in the family.
At City Hall Amsterdam the opion is that we have too many tourists in Amsterdam and housing should be to be live in and not for renting out. So in my popular Jordan area I am allowed to rent out 15 nights per calander year.
The rules do not apply to friends and family. I can have friends & Family over as many nights that I want. The past 15 years and beyond I made alot of friends and they are all most welcome to stay !!
